Aim: The aim of this clinical study, was to determine the dental impact on daily living (DIDL) before and after proshodontic treatment. Materials and Methods: 104 patients who suffered from inadequate and insufficient prosthodontic dentures, respectively, were supplied with new removable dentures. DIDL was determined before and 3-6 month after prosthodontic treatment. Results: Results were subjected to non- parametric statistical Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Significant differences were recorded for the following dimensions: “Appearance“, “comfort” and “eating restriction” (p= 0,05). Conclusions: None of these factors only determined the satisfaction of the patients from their prosthesis. Conventional denture therapy can also be an adequate treatment options for a quality of life.
