Optimal Selection of a Post Sticking Pharmaceutical by FEM
Y. SUN, L. KONG, and B. LIU, The Fourth Military Medical University, Xi'an, China | Objective:To evaluate the effect of continuous and simultaneous changes of a post sticking pharmaceutical elastic mould amount and thickness on the stress of the post core root. Methods:The three-dimensional post and core finite element model of front tooth of the upper jaw was rebuilt. The elastic mould amount (W) and thickness of a post sticking pharmaceutical (H) were set as the goal of optimizing. The EQV stress peak of the root was analyzed steadily and surely in DesignXplorer module. Results:When W was between 7.5-14.5GPa, the rangeability of the EQV stress peak of the root was 0.8%; When W was between 1-7.5GPa, the rangeability of the EQV stress peak of the root was 8.3%; When W was between 14.5-20GPa, the rangeability of the EQV stress peak of the root was 4.5%. When H was between 0.01-0.30mm, the rangeability of EQV stress peak of the root was 3.0%.The susceptibility to the root EQV stress peak value by the elastic mould amount was 96.5%; the susceptibility to the root EQV stress peak value by the thickness was 3.5%. Conclusion:It was far greater than the thickness in a post elastic impact on EQV stress peak value of the root of the tooth of mould amount of sticking pharmaceutical and when elastic mould amount of pharmaceutical of post sticking was between 7.5- 14.5GPa, the value was smaller. | Seq #70 - Cements 2:00 PM-3:15 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2008 Metro Toronto Convention Centre Exhibit Hall D-E |
