Composite resins restorations provide both function and aesthetics while conserving natural tooth structure. Objective:  The purpose of this study was to clinically evaluate Tetric EvoCeram (Ivoclar Vivadent) as a composite restorative in anterior teeth.  Methods: IRB protocol and consent approval was obtained.  44 restorations were placed as Class 3, Cl. 4, Diastema closure, and Facial Veneers using Excite (Ivoclar Vivadent) adhesive, and polishing with Astropol (Ivoclar Vivadent) polishing system.  The restorations were evaluated for the following variables:  Anatomic Form (AF), Color Match (CM), Marginal Adaptation (MA), Retention (RT), Marginal Discoloration (MD), Surface Staining (SS), Secondary Caries (SC) and Polishability (PL). Results: At three years using a modified USPHS evaluation system, the following results are reported in percentages (%)  Baseline (BL), Three year (3Yr).

All variables except MD and PL had excellent evaluations.  Margin stain was minor and all restorations were smooth with little decreased gloss.  Conclusions:  Within the findings of this study, Tetric EvoCeram composite is a good clinical choice for anterior restorations, showing high physical and esthetic characteristics for up to three years.  This study was partial funded by Ivoclar Vivadent.
