NIDCR's 60th Anniversary Symposium: Contributions of Canadian Pain Research

Description: As NIDCR celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2008, the Institute wishes to highlight the many contributions of Canadian scientists to pain research and the Institute’s long-standing support of Canadian pain research. NIDCR proposes to celebrate the anniversary by highlighting five individuals who continue to make high-impact contributions to pain research. The Symposium focuses on recent developments and advancements in the areas of imaging of pain, genetics of pain, pain regulatory processes and the role of gene-environment interactions in pain.
